For over 500 years, there has been a robed Church choir singing at the Parish Church in Great Barton. This very friendly group meets every Friday evening at 7.30pm at the Church, and newcomers are made most welcome. We sing a wide range of music.
Singing in a church choir for younger members has been proven to increase intelligence, reading skills, confidence, as well as being great fun. They can also earn medals from the Royal School of Church Music. Older members also gain from proven improvements in Posture, breathing, lower blood pressure, and general well-being. You will also make new friends.
It is totally free of charge to join the church choir, and everything is provided. You can just pop along and give it a go without obligation. No previous experience of singing is needed!
For further information on the Church choir give Margaret a ring on 01284 788196, or just come along any Friday evening or chat to any member of the choir after any Church service.
